Anxiety Help.

For the past three months I have been experiencing a number of symptoms. They include pressure headaches, dizziness, weakness, fatigue, shakiness, sighing/ trouble breathing regularly, etc. I have only 3 true panic attacks where my heart races out of control, I feel helpless (like i'm going to pass out), can't stand still/see well. I experience left arm pain and numbness as well. I have been taking Ativan .5-1mg every day for the last 2 months. However, this still happens and even though my symptoms worsen in social situations they happen even when I am alone and occur almost every single day. I am 19 and in shape. I am willing to accept that this is just anxiety, but this happens when I don't feel anxious as well. I want to get back to my normal self, any suggestions? I am desperate.

Are you recieving counseling for you anxiety?  You said you are willing to accept it, which is a HUGE step in the right direction in my opinion.  When I was dealing with this, it took me months to even consider accepting it.

In my opinion, anxiety/panic can and will affect us differently.  Sometimes we can get one set of symptoms and then they can be completely different the next time around.  It can make it very scary and confusing in my opinon.

For me, after accepting the anxiety, going to counseling was the most important step I took in confronting and dealing with it.  Just don't get too down on yourself while you go through this...you will get through it!

I've been feeling those same things for the past 2 months, ever since my first panic attack. I've noticed I'm still having the shakiness and sometimes the vision problems and dizziness even when I feel like I'm not anxious whatsoever. I've been told that it can be rebound anxiety.....like I spend so much time trying not to have a panic attack, or when I'm with friends I try so hard not to be anxious, that when I'm finally calm just sitting at home, I have all the built up anxiety kind of spilling over. It's just kind of leftover anxiety, and I've been told that eventually it will go away once I get a better handle on it. I'm thinking that 2-3 months is still pretty soon, it may be a little bit longer before our symptoms go away completely. As long as you're listening to your doctor/therapist and you're doing what you're suppose to, then hopefully these feelings should start to fade. Good luck, and let me know how things are going for you!
