Thanks I am currently reading a book seems to help somewhat. I will look at your suggestions. Thanks you for you opinion. Sad to see that there are so many others who suffer with the same issues, but comforting at the same time. Thanks

The best advice I was given was knowing that I WAS GOING TO BE OK and that IT WILL PASS. I also sought therapy and was on medication for a bit (Ativan). I tried Lexapro and Zoloft, but I had bad reactions to both. Actually, they made my panic/anxiety worse. I weaned off of Ativan and am now relying on friends and family for support. I also surround myself with things that help me relax like classical music (certain cd, breathing exercises, cold cloth on my head, and maybe reaching out and calling someone who will stay on the phone with me (until it passes) and give me reassurance. Each day can be a struggle, but it helps to know that WE have the power to beat this anxiety. I wish you the best.
Distraction can be in many forms. I like to slow my breathing down. One big breath in and hold and then out all the way. You can count as you do it. Put your hand on your stomach and feel it rise as you take the breath in and fall as you breathe out. If you are in a panic about something specific, try to self-talk yourself out of it. A doctor may have more strategies for you. I hope you feel better soon.
Sadly its extremely difficult. All you can do is wait it out and try to distract yourself.
