Anxiety Symptom

I just have a quick question, When I lay down and just rest a little bit like to watch tv or something and i get back up I feel out of it. I mean it is really only when I get up from laying down flat. What could this be or is this a symptom of anxiety

im not a doctor, but its sounds like it could be Iron/protein deficiency.  try eating fish and taking a b12 vitamin and see if it helps. if condition pesists see your DOc..

No , I am pretty sure  this has nothing to do with anxiety, anxiety is where you feel constantly worried about something ( or for some, nothing.)

I never had anxiety in my life until just recently, but i already feel like a pro about the subject. :)

So if this is not a symptom of anxiety then could it really be b12 the women above has described or could it have to do with something else? I mean I really dont know what to do. I try to explain this to my doctor but he really does not understand where I am coming from I think. He just wants to get me in and out and then go onto the next patient. This is why I am trying to figure out what this really could be. I know my family does not havea history of depression and or anxiety so I really dont know if I truefully have this? It is hard to tell. I mean I do have some symptoms of anxeity and panic but I am wondering now if that is caused by something else? I was looking up b12 and it states that if you do not have enough b12 in your body it can cause anxiety and depression as well so it kind of made me wonder. Any help in determining this would be helpful. Thanks Thomas

You do not have to have a family history of anxiety and depression to have it yourself.
It sounds to me that maybe your having a sudden blood pressure change when you get up. Do you have a BP machine at home? If not, you can get one at any drug store.
Check it when you've been sitting quietly for about 10 minutes, then stand up and check it. If there's a big difference in the 2 numbers it could be adrenal fatigue.
I also agree that you may be low on your B vitamins and protein. Get a good organic B- Complex from a health food store and see if that helps the symptoms your having. It also helps with anxiety and depression.

There is such a thing as B12 anemia, but if you're not a vegetarian it's extremely likely you have it.  The iron deficiency was related to anemia; that would be one possible explanation for the dizziness upon rising suddenly.  Good sources of iron are parsley, dandelion greens, organ meats, seaweed, beets, etc.  But you need to get tested first, because excess iron can lead to heart problems.  I suggest you find a different doctor who will take you seriously, and then get blood tests to rule out the several potential causes of this.  One question -- are you tired a lot?  That would be a better sign of anemia or thyroid problems, whereas what you describe can be caused by inner ear problems, as well as all sorts of other minor problems.
