Anxiety and Body Temperature

Im just curious, but does anxiety cause body temperature to fluctate?! I notice that when im really nervous or anxious that my body temperature will read in the 99s at times. Has this happened to anyone else. I have been to the doctor and they say im fine, but im just really scared by all of this. Is this anxiety?!

It does with me.  Anxiety can make me hotter or give me the chills.  It's done both.  Medication can also do this.

Actually, I have read that anxiety can cause body temp changes. I used to stay very cold all the time. Now that I'm on meds for my depression and anxiety I stay much warmer.
I do agree with CJ. Your body temp will fluctuate though out the day. Try not to worry, okay.  Remar

ok, but could anxiety have fueled these things. like i know feel calm and cooler and i just took my temp and it was back in the 98s. Something extreme just happened to me a few hours ago and it had me all worked up and worried. Took temp then and it was 99. So, im assuming it has to be anxiety.

My body temperture fluctuates a lot throughout the day.  For example, sometimes my temperature at the docs office can be a couple of degrees difference in a matter of minutes.  In my opinion, the same is true when it comes to almost any reading having to do with our bodies...the same is true for blood pressure.  You usually will not get the exact same reading with each screening.
