Anxiety and Brain Fog

I am wondering if anybody has experienced a brain "fog" due to anxiety?  For the past several weeks I have had difficulty concentratiting and remembering things, that in the past were  easy.  I have also had severe anxiety.  I am not taking any meds but might explore using some antidepressants like Zoloft of Lexipro.   I have also had some of the other sypmtoms of anxiety including rubbery legs, nervousness, sweating, face muscles feeling tight.  I don't believe I have any organic issues as I have had some screening (MRI of brain, blood work) that did not indicate any issues.  Any advice on how to possibly reverse this situatuion would be appreciated.

i dont think ive ever had the fog thing but all the other things you mention i can relate to. but i have heard about the brain fog before so it normal, the zoloft is great for those symptoms, try it and see how it works for you. the thing is, everything dose not work the same way with everyone, but still try it, lets know how it works out
