Anxiety and eye floaters

Has anyone experienced eye floaters along with their anxiety?  I got anxiety bad last August and about 6 months ago, floaters started.  I have been to the eye dr. twice.  This is the only connection I can make why I started getting them so suddenly.  I have read alot about people with anxiety seeing eye floaters and / or other visual disturbances.

I get the floaters from time to time. They are really annoying! When I start to panic- my vision will narrow- like I lose my peripheral (sp?) vision. Anyway, here is a link that I have posted before. It lists anxiety symptoms and has a section on vision. I hope this helps!!

anxietycentre.com is wonderful site as far as the symptoms go.  I have found that one before to.  I can't help but wonder if they will ever go away tho.  I hear that you have them for life after you get them, but if it is stress/anxiety induced, you would think eventually it would go away. Weird.

Well, when I am having anxiety-free periods- I do not notice the floaters. Maybe you still have underlying anxiety that you are un aware of. Sometimes with GAD (that is what I have), I will feel anxious for no reason at all at any time of the day in any situation. I have no idea what brings it on. Anyway, I really dont notice them when I am feeling good. Best of luck to you!!

I get them at times, and was diagnosed with ocular migraines.  Migraines, of course, can be aggravated by stress/anxiety.  They're awfully freaky the first time, huh?  I remember the first time I had one and I thought for sure I was dying, haha.  Now they're just frustrating because at times I'll be virtually blind in one eye or the other.  Usually it's the left.
