Anxiety cause muscle weakness and poor circulation?

Can anxiety cause muscle weakness and poor circulation? My hands turn purple and red depending on temp. I am always dizzy and my muscles feel like jello and stiff and the same time? normal for anxiety?

Oh yes..definately. I am suffering the same thing right now. I am having a bad episode and starting 20mg of prozac makes the weakness worse temporarily which really stinks.  i have been taking it for 3 weeks now. slight improvement but not much. It's very hard to wait until the medicine kicks in. Hopefully you have started on some sort of medication. But I also suffer from dizziness as well. Don't worry. The right medicine will fix you. it just takes time.

do you feel out of breath and pain in chest in back all the time too? I have stomach problems to. I am scared it could be my heart,

Anxiety can do horrible things to ur body and ur muscles. My legs were so stiff for weeks that they thought I had MS, but 1 ct scan, and 2 MRI's, and lots of blood work said No to MS. All anxiety and stress related. And I hate to be one of those people that says a pill will make it all better, because I dont believe that. A pill may help in the short term, but If u urself dont figure out a healthier way of dealing with stress, then the medications will just throw u into a tornado of more meds, more side effects, more meds, more stress. Please trust me on this one. U need someone to talk to that can really related to what ur feeling, and thats hard to do on here with waiting for responses. Anyway, ur welcome to leave me a messege on here, I always check to see if someone leaves me a messege, cuz I know it ***** waiting for a response. But I'm here, And I can relate. Take Care
