Anxiety from job?

I work in a call center. Lately, for the past 2 weeks, I get a big discomfort in my chest, I get chest tightness, some chest vibrations like there was a buzzing cellphone, chest pain, left side of the chest feels irritated and also it feels electrified (hard to describe).

Is this anxiety?

My blood pressure had dropped so I was feeling dizzy. I am drinking more water and salt so that is better. An EKG showed that it is normal. Going for a blood test as well.

Sorry for the late reply.
I have had my thyroid checked. It was part of the blood test. They also did a urine test.

All came back normal. The only thing noticed by the doctor was that in my chest x-ray, I had a slight curvature in my spine. I think it is called scoliosis.

I was prescribed clonazepam in sept 17, 2015. Wow, that worked great. It eliminated the chest pains. I tied not to take it everyday. Unfortunately, they don't want to prescibe more. The first 3 days, it caused dizziness for 15 min, but that isn't a big deal.
They prescribed venlafaxine this time. Wow, I get a lot of nausea and head feels weird. Like at the top side of my brain, there is some activity (It is very hard to describe).

It has been a terrible few months. I wake up and after 30 min, I feel a kind of pressure in my left chest side, below the bone, almost at abdomen level. Then it turns into a dull pain. I also get pain above my breast, sometimes, under my arm, sometimes center of chest. It seems to go away when I am sitting and relaxed.

The nastiest thing is that the dull pain turns into a INTENSE burning sensation, just below the skin. It is like an INTENSE sun burn.

What the heck is that?
Howcome the clonazepam worked so well?

If you don't feel anxious, chances are you aren't.  That means a pysiological problem that hasn't been diagnosed yet.  Anxious people feel anxious.

Good question.  My anxiety is pretty bad, at least to me it is.  I've been on medication for some years and it use to help greatly.  It doesn't help so much anymore and my condition is worse than it originally was.  I have just started cognitive behavioral therapy so I'm hoping for the best.  When my symptoms are really bad I at least know what it is...anxiety.  Maybe knowing something isn't physically wrong with me makes it a little easier to deal with.  It still ***** and is still beyond uncomfortable but it is what it is.  If you aren't feeling nervous it may not be anxiety.  Since you are having trouble sleeping and have lost weight on top of your chest symptoms, you should have your thyroid checked.  These are also symptoms of hyperthyroidism.  Ask your doc about it.  Take care!

Paxiled, no, I don't feel anxious at all. That is what is odd about it.
I also get those symptoms randomly at times.

This past week, having trouble sleeping (I sleep and wake up after 1 or 2 hours, then go back to sleep. it repeats like that. I wake up maybe 6 times.)
I lost a lot of weight as well. From 87 kg to 76 kg.
I think I lost it during the past few months.

Sunny1018, how do you deal with your symptoms?

I also get some of those same chest symptoms.  I guess I'm not the only one with the vibrating cellphone sensation.  It feels so odd.  I have very bad anxiety and these are just some of the physical symptoms I have.  Good luck to you.
