Anxiety

Can Anxiety cause diarrhea, fatigue, canker sores? If it can, how common does this occur among people, that worry about getting these symptoms? for example, if you worry about getting diarrhea, or becoming very tired, is it fairly likely that you can receive those symptoms?

Diarrhea and fatigue, definitely.  Canker sores, probably not.  That's probably the sodium laurel sulfate in your toothpaste.  Go to a good health food store and find a toothpaste that doesn't have any form of that, and it will probably solve the canker sore problem.  As to the others, there are things you can do; the best is solving your problem in therapy, but if I knew how to do that I'd have done it myself.  Taking adaptogenic herbs such as eleuthero and ashwagandha and green foods such as spirulina might help with the fatigue, and digestive enzymes and aloe juice might help the diarrhea, but only solving the wear and tear of stress will make them go away.

I get all of the following symptoms. I actually get canker sores quite a bit. I think stress can help bring them on. But so can many other things. Like having too much acid... Or acid reflux. Canker sores run in my family as well. As for the diarhea (diarrhea), yes that def can be caused by stress. I had it off and on for a whole month. With anxiety, the brain is connected to everything. Especially the digestive tract. I didn't know this tip a couple months ago. As soon as I took care of my anxiety, which I'm still doing, my diarheah and strange bowel movements left. One thing I'm struggling with now is a hypersensitive gag reflex. LOL. always seems to be a new symptom with me. LOL. Good luck to you.
