Anxious over herpes.

I had a drunken unprotected one night stand with a girl. At some stage she decided to take the condom off and after i asked wheres is the condom and she replied she didn't like them and then followed by oh by the way i have herpes. i immediately said WHAT and now i cannot remember if she said i'm only joking.... Anyway i freaked out left. Two weeks after i notice two pink marks that developed on my penis glans into a kinda rash that stayed for 2 months went to the doc and was told i did not looks like herpes. got all the std tests bar the blood one for herpes because i was told i was to early to tell and as there was no sores to swab. anyway the rash seems to be in the process of dying off. I cant move on from this i cant sleep work nothing its killing me. i see this girl around the university but she is completely unapproachable and seems to get around and seems dishonest so there's no point asking if she has it or not outright. as she will probably lie and damage my reputation  What are the chances i have it and have no symptoms. i don't believe she was on an outbreak if she did have it.

Just ask for an std screening and put your mind at ease.  Don't put it off any longer or else your mental health will only get worse about something you may not even have. and if you do, (which I doubt) there are worse things in the world.  I have sarcoid, (rare disease) didn't ask for it, didn't want it, didn't contract it, but my body/god decided to give it to me, now I just gotta live with it.

Im a little confused... You said you were tested? and it was negative? if so what is there to worry about? I'm also willing to bet the girl was joking... What girl is going to come out and say that and risk her reputation at the highschool/college level?   If it makes you feel better get tested again.
