Anyone get Vertigo with their Anxiety?

I'm 20 going on 21 & i've had Anxiety for many years but only the symptoms for the past 3. I have Social Anxiety & Panic Attacks.

I'm currently seeing a councellor every 1-2 weeks which is helping, but she think's i get Vertigo when my Anxiety is very high (when i could easily have a panic attack) but i thought Vertigo was caused by a serious ear condition, which actually my Doctor think's i have to a certain degree, but thats 'Eustachian Tube Dysfunction' caused by allergies he think's.

I've lost count how many time's when i'm standing or walking (when i'm very anxious) that i suddenly go very off-balance & feel very dizzy - like wherever i am is spinning at high speed, but it's very quick & it startle's me, & i really have to concentrate to knock myself out of it, but i also notice my ears go all funny, they feel blocked (which could be to do with ETD) & i get a lump in my throat & feel a bit nauseaus.

Does anyone else get this? Can Vertigo also be a symptom of Anxiety? I don't get how it can be.

It's really stressing me out, i'm now very paranoid about going out & experiencing it.

Vertigo and dizziness are two diffferent things.  With vertigo the room or objects around you appear to be spinning. With dizziness you feel like you are floating, or standing in a boat.  Dizziness can be caused by your anxiety, and accompany panic attacks. You need to see an Ear, Nose, and Throat specialist to find out if you do indeed have an inner ear problem, especially since your GP feels you may.  This is their specialty and you need to know one way or another if you do, no guessing by your doctor.  Take care.

This is very common with anxiety.  It's all over this board, and happens to me.  Not a bad idea to check out your inner ear, but if my experience and that of so many on the web is any guide you probably won't find anything.

Ive had vertigo for five weeks my ears got recently cleaned out apparenly they were so blocked thought it wuld help but didnt I also get weird ear things sometimes high pitched ringo.g and one ear goes blocked its very fustrating it stressef me out now I get heart pulpitaions :(
