Anyone please help me out if you would...

I'm sorry if this is long but please read.
My panic/anxiety began when I was about 19.  I went to every doctor to figure out what was wrong with me until someone told me it was panic attacks.  So i went to a psychiatrist to seek help and it was just that!  He put me on zoloft at the time 150 mg's.  It made my world such a difference it was great!  Prior to the medication I was not able to go into a mall without freaking out, restaurant etc... I am sure some of you can relate to this.
Well I took the zoloft for almost 2 years and came off because I felt great.  I was fine for about 4 years after medication free.  Until all of a sudden 1 day I started thinking about it and freaked myself out and boom there it went.  I am having that panic/anxiety my heart pounded so bad I actually fell to the floor because I got dizzy...I know they say you will not pass out from a panic attack which I didn't, but it was just scary.  So I went to the ER and they wanted to admit me they didn't know why my heart was doing that they ran all types of tests and I signed myself out of there.  I went to the cardiologist he did everything and said my heart is fine and it is just anxiety.
There I go back to the psychiatrist!  He wanted to put me on zoloft but I said no at the time because the last time I was on it I turned into a balloon.  So he put me on celexa and klonopin everyday which I took for a year up until the summer.  I felt the celexa wasn't doing much and got off of that boy was that a nightmare the withdrawls!  So I went and said being that the zoloft did such a great job last time I will take it again I don't care about the weight at this point it's worth it if i can just feel better.  So I took 25 and then 50mg's for 3 weeks and went to him telling him it wasn't doing much for me so he put me on 100mg's which I been taking for about a week now.  So all together it's a month.  I am much better than what I was but I really could be better!  I get panicky sometimes still.
I know they say it takes a while to get into your system, but how much longer?  I can't remember how long it took from the last time I took it.
Please sometimes I feel so alone and it looks like everyone is so normal out there.  I get so depressed over it.  I just want to be normal.  To top all things off I suffer with migraines!
Sorry for the long story if anyone can relate or help me out would be great!

Thanks

Anxiety can come back after years of 'remission.'  I had my first panic attack 3 years ago and I was panic free for almost three years until it 'hit' me one day again.  In my opinion, it can be even more stressful and scary the second time around because you really don't want it to come back.

I was on Zoloft then and actually went back on it.  Remember that it can take around a month for it to 'kick in,' but more importantly it is time to confront it once again through talk therapy.  I know it is frustrating, but take comfort in the fact that you know how to confront it this time around.  Even though it 'sneaked' back up on you, you have the knowledge to get through it.  When this happened to me, I was able to recognize it, even though I was like, 'here we go again.....," but even though it was very disheartening at first, I found that it was a faster 'recovery' for me.  But it does take patience, hard work, and understanding....please keep us posted!

Thanks so much for the comfort!  How many mg's are you on?  The doctor told me it could even take up to 3 months to work.  Also I need to find therapy somewhere though I have been reading this book it has been very helpful!  It's called "TRIUMPH OVER FEAR" I am trying to follow it also.  I definately recommend it.  I am trying hard I must try harder though!  I can't let medication do all the work.

it's really 4-6 weeks at the maximum dose of the Zoloft before you decide whether or not it is helping you.  sounds like you may need a very minute dose of a benzo/muscle relaxant to take p.r.n. when you're having those "out of body experience" symptoms.
