Ativan (Lorazepam)

Hi all,

I've read a large number of posts regarding ativan withdrawal symptoms, and most of them are cases where people have been taking the drug for longer than two months.

I'm very sensitive to any drug, and have only been taking ativan .5 to 1mg as needed.  Usually this equates to taking it every few days, however i've taken it for four consecutive nights up until last night (didn't take it last night).  Today i'm feeling nervous and anxious which is uncommon for me during the day.  Is it possible that i'm experiencing some mild withdrawal symptoms after such a short time?

Thanks

Ativan is a fast acting, fast to leave benzo, so its risk for tolerance is pretty high.
Taken once or twice a week, I dont see to much problems in it "it all depends on the person"
But if you have to take it more then that, I would suggest you talk to your DR about a maintenance benzodiazapine, with a longer half life, that will stay in your system with less risk of tolerance, and bad withdraws.
Side effects can basically be everything, lol when I took it, it made my chest numb "not in a scary way, but a funny way"
tiredness, lazyness, are the main side effects
Yahoo health has a pretty good comprehensive list.
