BEEN AWAY - updating my OPEN Journal entries feel free to read.

Well it's been awhile since I have been here, I have commented on some post, but actually stayed away from the forum for awhile to work on self. I am updating my open Journal, I have gotten good responses from people who have panic attacks/ Anxiety and have found my Journals helpful, (plus it helps me). ;-)

Been Panic free/drug free for last 9 months with only  acouple close calls, but nothing to bad (knock on wood).  did CBT (1 on 1) at the V.A.  then after 2 months did a group CBT which I will finish in 3 weeks (weekly group).

I have started my Journals back up as they help me to see where I was at and learn from them experiences. I have decided to start taking celexa (only 5mg/day) as I am able to go out and do things but still have the 'EDGE' I call it, that my mind still senses danger, when NO DANGER is present. I just started this medication last Friday, So thought just like with my Panic attacks and coming off Xanax I would journal about my experiences, so feel free to check out my Journal entries.

I really hope everyone is doing fine, but I have found (you can see from my journal entries) that to fight off Panic Attacks and put it in it's place takes allot, I mean allot of HARD WORK, but the rewards are great! As I was reminded in this forum by a number of regulars, sometimes it is one step forward and 2 steps back, but you learn for that also.
