BIZARRE SYMPTOMS? COULD IT BE ANXIETY?

Hey there!  I am a 27 yo female and have been experiencing very strange uncomfortable sx for about 2 years now.  I've seen 2 neuros who have told me it isn't neurological.  I'm currently seeing a rheum and being tested for autoimmune and lymes, but haven't got results back yet.   I have actually suffered from anxity and depression on and off for several years, but can usually differentiate those sx from what I am having now.  Here is what I've been going through:

Here are my sx:   Started in May 07-  Numbness in toes/feet, shooting pains in arms and hands, tingling in arms and hands and feet, body wide twitching, occasional weakness, brain fog, weird sensations of cold water splashing or running down legs, headache, anxiety,.  These sx lasted for about 5 months and then just went away.  I had brain mri w/wo contrast which was normal (showed sinus disease), and neuro exam normal (except for brisk reflexes), I was also tested for RA neg and vit deficiencies- neg and all other blood work was normal.  I do remember though my liver enzymes were elevated for no apparent reason.

Since then I had episodes of anxiety attacks and bouts of depression.  My husband is military and was gone a lot and that caused a lot of stress.  But these attacks were surely anxiety/ related.  I didn't have the other sx that went a log with them.

Mar 09- Symtoms returned.   Started with frequent urination/ burning  NEG UTI.  Then left toes became numb.  About a week later...  Numbness climbed up calf/ knee, and Extreme body fatigue, heaviness, dizziness (like rocking in a boat), balance problems (never fell though), weakness in legs and body (legs shake when walk especially up stairs), pain in arms, hands, legs, feet (intermittent), eye pain, ear pain, and Severe Brain Fog, burning in shins.

Symptoms were horrible for about a week straight then let up a bit.  I am still expericeing all these sx, but at different times and random orders.   One day I'll feel fine then the next feel horrible!!  It is very confusing!

I saw a neuro again and had another brain MRI w/wo contrast- NORMAL (showed sinus disease) cspine MRI- NORMAL, NCS- NORMAL.  Neuro exam was normal except for again brisk reflexes.

Currently seeing a Rhem who has done labs for auto immune and Lyme Disease.    Also just saw the ENT who has just prescribed antibiotics for sinuses.  Have a sinus CT in a few weeks.

I'm really at a loss here and wish I could find some answers.   Could all these bizarre sx's be stemming from anxiety, stress, depression?  The thing is I didn't feel sad, unhappy, or anxious before all these sx came about this time.  But now that I am having the sx I am having anxiety, and am getting depressed.  I think it's cause I don't know what is going on and I am very worried.   My brain fog is absolutely one of the worse sx.  I cannot think straight!  I feel stupid!

Has anyone else had strange sx like these and found out that they are actually caused from stress/ anxiety???

Thanks for listening!

Hi, I know it has been a while since this was posted but maybe, I will get lucky and you will read this,  I have been having strange symptoms for 2and a half years now,  it started 6 months after having my baby, First let me just tell you iam a hypochondriac and have been through a lot of stressful situations in my life,   The first symptom was dizziness when I was in the grocery store then a couple of days later I could not remember anything, iam a paramedic and I told my partner that I did not even feel like myself ,and I was worried that I was getting early memory loss, then I was on a call and the firefighters slammed the door to the house of the pt and this jolt of like electricity went through my body, then I started with muscle twitching all over every sec a new twitch my calfs felt tight like I had worked out real hard and my hands hurt and I had numbness and tingling in them and my feet I even dropped a bottle of wine in the grocery store and I did not even feel it fall out of my hand, my hands would feel like they were electric and I once even thought I was being electrocuted , my muscles felt tight, heavy burning, throbbing , my nose would twitch for 2 weeks straight then it would move to my lip and that would twitch for weeks, but during this time my all over body twitching was still there,    I was so scared was not sure what the he'll was wrong, the symptoms would  get better for about a week or even 2 then they would like get worse again , I had such brisk reflexes I could not have my elbows on the table because if someone put their glass on the table to hard my arms would jump up in the air, if I put my arm to tard down on my legs my leg would fling up,    Went to 2 neurologists normal everything, but I did also have brisk reflexes I had blood work. , emg,, MRI all normal neurologist said I had no problems, then after that all my symptoms went away for 14 months then when my mother in law died, I got real stressed out then I noticed I was having a hard time moving my left hand like it had been on ice, then the next day memory problems twitching all over stiff ,heavy, weak feeling muscles, numbness and ringing in arms legs , head and even lips, I wax even tested for lupus and it was neg,   I was so upset because I thought what ever I had before was gone but now it's back, it is stress overload and then the brain turns on the fight or flight response says on, I also had bad eye floaters and one pupil was sometimes larger than the other,   I found out from my doctor it's fibromyalga , they have all these symptoms and they come and go, and you can go a long time without symptoms then you can have a flairup from even just cleaning the house to much or a stressful situation all the way to just getting your period, my symptoms seem to get worse before my period,   Hope this helps, I also would love to here a response from you since I find few people with all these symptoms .       Rose Jee. YESS most definitley i almost cried reading your post becasue i have the exact same thing. It is definitley stress and anxiety and I even went tto the ER because i was so freaked out and everything came out negative. i went to the eye doctor because i was afraid i had a brain tumor from the constant headaches and pressure and heaviness.....NOTHING!!! Everything was negative. I had full blood count tests run and it was negative. I would suggest seeing a counselor or something because that works wonders trust me!! But i will ask.. do you ever feel pressure on your head?? Also I know exactly what you mean by brain fog and dizziness I feel it all the time and im afraid im gonna fall over but i never do so yea...It is awkward how anxeity works because you would never think it would have so many symptoms but it goes away and then comes back. It went away for a week and I thought I was done with all the anxiety nonsense and then this week it came back and im soo pissed!!!!! I keep thinking I have something serious and i have nothing!! Its hard to tell myself its nothing when i keep thinking i might be having a brain tumor or aneryrism or something serious. the worst part is i cant have anymore tests run because basically ive had every test run possible. I feel like i cant concentrate constantly and its soo agravating. I was so glad to see someone else is going through the same thing. My parents think im physco and i just want it to go away. My counselor suggested medicine but idk if its such a great idea.. But anyways ik how you feel and ive pretty much been to every doctor possible and have every symptom you have so if you have any questions or wanna talk just let me know!!!!
