BREATHING EXERCISES HELP PLEASE?

Has anyone any ideas as to why when i do breathing exercises even for just 30 seconds I feel strange symptoms.....not the same as the anxiety really....they are a bit different....more like sort of very bad dizzyness and nausea and a feeling of sort of travel sickness......could this be my body adjusting to the relaxed feeling or me breathing too deep? its weird cuz its what id imagine hyperventilation does to you...yet im breathing the slow and deep not fast and shallow..... please help cuz if this is something that is a good sign I really want to know....I want to get out of this hell hole...

I have anxiety & many times I feel like I can't take a deep breath.  Once this happens I keep trying to take deep breaths & sometimes I can do it & sometimes I can't do it.  I feel like that is all I can think about & it makes me even more nervous.  Is breathing like this a sign of anxiety. I don't know of any breathing exercises to do.  My primary & cardiologist just told me not to think about it but that is easier said then done.

I feel exactly as you described. My doctors also mentioned that I probably suffer of anxiety, but I just cannot believe it since I do not feel nervous. Just the constant breathless feeling and chest pain makes my life hell. What has been your diagnosis after two years? I am curious to learn from year experience. Thanks
