Back again

So if you havent been following my recent posts. Last week on Monday I had a horrible anxiety attack due to high amounts of serotonin in my blood. The doctor said to quit all meds and just rest and let everything go through. Well I didnt take my Levothyroxine for my Hypothyroidism. Its been a week now and I have had a increase in confusion and brain fog... Just not with it. So I was wondering if not taking my levothyroxine that long would make me hypo again? All the anxiety symptoms went away like the shakiness.... just want some advice... I hate having to write things out and wait for a response if you have the guts and would like to talk you should call me 612 203-4193

First off, you know that we're not doctors on this forum, EMT, so why you keep asking for advice you know ONLY a doctor can give you is a bit of a mystery. YOU need the "guts" to call your PCP and ask him/her for the answer you're seeking. Which, in my humble opinion, should have been discussed when you were told to stop all your meds.
I also think it is a VERY bad idea to post your telephone number on a public forum. You may be setting yourself up for some really nasty problems doing that.
I'm sorry that you "hate to write things out and wait for a response.........." That's what FORUMS are about and you know that. And I really don't appreciate you telling people here "if they have the guts and want to talk, to call you." Surely you must understand by now that it takes a great deal of courage for some of these people to even write about their problems. If you don't, then understand it now.
Perhaps you need to find a different format since you find this one frustrating. Something along the lines of "Fraiser." He is listening...................

Okay, EMT. No need to call Greenlydia names. We're nice people here and your post did come off as a little bit nasty with you saying, if you have the guts to call. We're here to help each other and I'm sure your feeling frustrated but please be nice about it.
First of all, you should not have stopped your thyroid meds. I don't understand why your Dr wanted you to do this because you will go hypo without them.
How do you know your were having serotonin over load? Is there a blood test for that?
Is your Dr doing labs every 4 to 6 weeks on your thyroid levels? Your anxiety could have been caused by to high a dose of your meds and you were going hyper.
Is he/she checking FT3, FT4, TSH and antibodies? Get your bloodwork done to see what your levels are and start back on your meds again. It does sound like your hypo right now. Take care. Remar
