I found this for you. (Read below!)  You will read that the "bloating and gas" can come from anxiety.  You will also read at the bottom about "frequent urination" due to anxiety.

When are you seing your counselor?  I remember you said that you have a counselor.  Hopefully he/she can help you until your appointment with the gastroenologist.

Right now you need to get help for your nerves because once these symptoms are resolved, and another symptom comes up you will fall apart again for days and weeks until you have the results.

Just remember we almost always worry about nothing.  Remember how upset you were about "bruguda" you were so afraid you had?  It turned out that you have a healthy heart.

And most of all remember if any doctor would think that there is a possiblity of cancer they would call you within two days max.

Believe me I know the feeling of suspense and anxiety about a symptom, but once they tell me its not serious or tell me to come back for a follow up weeks or months down the road I calm down.  You have to TRUST the doctors otherwise the "not trusting" and the "what if" will ruin your life.

When they say they don't think its cancer you have to BELIEVE them.  They do not gamble with cancer, and big time malpractrice suits.

Good luck!

I wrote this on another post yesterday but I wasn't sure if you saw it.  I wanted to copy it here so you could.
Good luck at the doc.

I just got the results of my ultrasound from last week.  I have two cysts, one on each ovary.  They said "dime a dozen" and are NOT concerned about it in the least.  I hope this is what you will find tomorrow when you can talk to your doctor in person.

You really need to work on the anxiety though, Bip.  It is not helping you at all and if you can work on that while dealing with your health concerns, you'll be much better equipped to handle them.  And I KNOW your symptoms are REAL.  And I know that they are PHYSICAL and not in your head.  If one more person tells me my chest pain is "in my head" I'm going to really freak out on them!!  The fact is that anxiety CAN cause physical symptoms and be very real.  I mean, go to the docs you need to but get a handle on the anxiety, it's ruining your life.

This is a quote from the doc that answers on the mental health forum.  It is an answer to a question I asked about my chest pain and cause of "unexplained" anxiety.

--quote--

The problem with anxiety is that once it starts, you become hyper aware of your body, and symptoms like you describe can be created out of anxiety, and persist because they represent anxiety.  Assuming all your medical tests are negative, what you should do now is not rely on some specific medication, but seek a consultation with a psychiatrist who can both prescribe medication and also talk you through this and figure out exactly what is going on.

--end quote--

Look at that carefully.  The symptoms persist (continue) "BECAUSE THEY REPRESENT ANXIETY".  That says a lot to me and spoke very clearly in my case.  I struggle every day and look at that almost daily to remind myself that I am okay.  It is hard, it sucks, it is a struggle --but it can be done.

Take Care.

CONGRATS! I knew you'd be fine!  Since your doctor mentioned the Potassium I remember a woman I know who had constant severe PVC's (skipped beats) whose doctor checked her Potassium before he did any other tests and her Potassium was very low.  He put her on Potassium pills and all her PVC's stopped.

The list does not mean that you have to have every one of the symptoms. I just lists what symptoms are associated with the disorder.
