I am new here. My dr. has had me on .25 of xanax 2x a day for 1 year. The office called & he wants to do a blood test now. But I am curious as to why? & What they are looking for? Is this routineRoutine sputum culture?
Thx
They probably just want to check your thyroid, kidney, liver and other levels to make sure your body is staying at normalNormal saline flush levels while on the meds.
I'm not sure but alot of doctors just like to take a look to make sure that the thyroid or other areas aren't causing something to be off, thus the need for the xanax.
Thanks
