Body fighting back with sleep

I have been dealing with severe anxiety the majority of my life. When I start to feel anxiety or a panic episode coming on my body immediately combats it with drowsiness. I use to pass out whenever I would experience too much anxiety at once. Thank god that doesn't happen anymore. So now, during times of continual stress, I am drowsy and sleepy most of the day. It's getting to the point that I could sleep all day and still wake up tired. It is different from depression sleepiness, I do know how that feels. But I can tell that this sleepy cycle is starting to heighten my depression. Do any of you have any suggestions or advice? I guess I'm not quite sure what I'm asking, but I just needed to say it, and maybe hear that others feel it too.

I'm not sure I understand what the difference is between this sleepinees, and depression sleepiness.  Since your depression has worsened, are you sure it's not from the depression?  When I suffered from sleepiness due to depression, I could sleep all day and all night continuously.  If you are on medication you need to tell your doctor about this, if not then you need to seek a professional's advice.
