Brain tumor or Having Children???

I got pregnant two years ago, and started occasionally seeing dots.  My doctor told me not to worry because that happens when you get pregnant.  Well, it never went away, and I got pregnant again, and it got a lot worse.  Now I am having brain tumor symptoms, and I was wondering if I had a brain tumor, and if the seeing dots has anything to do with it.  The symptoms I am having are stuttering, memory loss, seeing dots(which look like a blurry t.v.), blurry vision, headaches, and sever mood changes.  I was also wondering if that could have to do with having kids.

Have you visited a brain tumor specialist?  I think that would be the common sense thing to do, if you want to determine whether you have a tumor.  If you don't have a tumor, you'll get a little peace of mind perhaps... and then be free to explore other causes for your symptoms.  If you do have a brain tumor, then you'll be on track to seeking appropriate treatment.

No I havent visited a specialist, but I have talked a little to my doctor.  Thank you for your advise.

Seeing dots is not normal when you're pregnant.  You really should see another OB or insist on tests to determine the cause of your symptoms.  Not all symptoms of a brain tumor turn out to be a brain tumor, so I wouldn't panic at this stage (or any stage, really), but I definitely think you need to be checked out totally for your sake and for your baby's.  The symptoms you are experiencing are not normal for pregnancy.

I would change doctors. Gosh, I have had 4 kids, and I have never seen dots!!! If it is getting worse, then get another opinion. May be a dumb question, but have you had your vision checked??? THat may rule something out.

Start will a neurologist and see if you can get an MRI.  If everything is fine, the neurologist will definitley have more insight on why this is happening.

Have you been tested for diabetes. I had a friend that seen white dot floaters and it was because her sugar was high while she was pregnant. She had gestational diabetes. Very common in pregnancies. I would check into that. Ask your doctor. Did you have a test last time where you drink that bottle of yucky orange drink to test your sugar?

i expeirenced this black dots when i was pregnant it can be high blood pressure aneamia low blod sugar as for the other symotoms i have exactly the same but i also feel completly spaced out all the  time and get bad body tremors and it all turned out to be anxiety

I suffer from Migraines and Migraine Varients.  I have the exact same symptoms plus some additional nasty things like numbness and tingling.I also get these symptoms without an actual headache.The black spots are called floaters and they are common amongst migrane (migraine) sufferers. It is also common for women to experience migraines when pregnant due to hormonal changes...

Please due not think that you have a brain tumor. You do need to see a Neurologist for your symptoms. Only a neurologist will be able to give you a proper diagnosis.

Most likely you will need a  Brain MRI and a Lumbar puncture to rule other nasty things like MS and tumors out.I have had both....

That sounded like I have MS and tumors which I dont....
