Bruising

This one is a little wierd. Yesterday I had a session of acupressure to help relieve my tight muscles. That gave me a couple of bruises where most of the work was concentrated which is to be expected because the pressure was deeeep. Yikes. Then, last night I was putting something together at home with a screwdriver and ended up bruising my thumb. I don't think I was exerting more pressure on it than normal but I read that stress can also make your skin temporarily thinner? Thankfully, both can be directed to a source of bruising, not just unexplained. I can explain away my back, but my thumb has me looking for answers. Any ideas? By the way, the acupressure has me so sore but I knew that was coming after about 2 minutes:-)
