Burning feet - please help

Does anyone get burning feet as a symptom of anxiety?  I don't mean flashes here and there but real painful burning that sometimes wakes me up.

This started about 6 weeks ago during a period of stress and it has been mostly minor, coming and going but for the last 4-5 days it's been really bad.

Focusing on it makes it worse and googling was a really bad idea.  My doctor says he wants to refer me to a neurologist.

I have a history of having body symptoms for my anxiety.  I went about a year with back problems that in retrospect were totally in my head.  As well, I had some dental pain that lasted about 2 months that I suspect was psychosomatic as well.

For the first 5 weeks it was tolerable with times during the day when it went away.  Then this last week it's neen constant and my anxiety is through the roof.  I'm going for a heart procedure in a month as well so that isn't calming me down.  What really scares me is that I wake up and I'm in pain.  In the past when I went to sleep everything would go away.  But of course that's not consistent with the symptoms so it changes.

Can anyone relate to this at all?  Is there any chance this is anxiety or am I truely in trouble?
Freaking out right now.  This is the worst thing ever.

You can get burning/tingling sensations in hands, feel, and your head as a symptom of an anxiety attack. Just try to relax. Put on your favorite show to get your mind off of it.
