Burning sensations and nervousness

Hi everyone.  So glad to have found this site.  Have been only reading things for now and finally decided to join.  I have been suffering from anxiety on and off for over 5 years.  I was doing so well that my dr took me off zoloft and was going great for 4 months.  Then started noticing small anxiety symptoms like feeling nervous and shaky at times.  Started back on zoloft (still had some left 25mg) until I could see my dr.  Well about a month ago, woke up with a burning feeling in my head and arms and legs.  Thought it was a stroke.  Daughter took me to ER where they ran some basic neuro tests and did a lot of blood work.  Everything normal.  Said I was having panic and anxiety.  Next day went to my reg dr who ran more blood tests....all normal.  Told me to see my psychiatrist.  Saw him next day and he upped by zoloft to 100 and told me to take klonopin .50mg 4x a day.  I was doing better for a couple of weeks, but yesterday woke up to the burning feeling and some nervousness.  Even the klonopin isn't really helping.  Plus I am thinking about this all day which makes it worse.  Does anyone else feel the burning sensation and are there days when your klonopin or xanax don't work.  I have been on 100mg of zoloft now for almost 4 weeks.  Is it possible it hasn't really kicked in yet.  Last time I took it, it seemed to work faster.  But that was 5 years ago.  So maybe I'm wrong.  Also can you still get anxiety for days at a time when on these meds.  I just really need to know that there are others out there with the same thing,  It seems to make thing s easier.  Thank you everyone for reading this long post.

Hi Lizzy,

I am having burning, pain , itchy feeling in my vagina , my doctor said its anxiety/stress related, I had evry test imaginable done all came back negative , I am on Clonazopam 0.5mg , sometimes I take 3-4 at night , when I take them my symptons goes away, I thought its because I am falling asleep, my doc said that clonozopam was only for anxiety and stress, I was expericing burning sensation in my legs, my buttock, inner thighs even in my mouth , I have been reading a book called Mood over Thought , its congnitive therapy you do on yourself its helped me a great deal, my doctor recommened me to get it as well as doing a journel. All my other symptons have gone except the flare ups in my vigina (vagina) inwhich I still don't think its to do with anxiety even though my doc still thinks so. Then again maybe he's right cause I put alot of thought into it and always fear the worse. I wrote in the forum under Womens Health Community under unexplanable title and under herpies (herpes) forum titled herbies question , read up on it , it will mention all my symptons I have been expercing since December. Hope it helps you
