Anxiety can affect everything... the eyes, the stomach, intestine, heart, name it... the more you focus on a symptoms like eye sight and the more you will have it...
it's not all the time linked to the adrenaline level... I had a 24 hours urinary test to see the level of adrenaline, noradrenaline and dopamine in my body and my adrenaline level was very low, same for the noradrenaline... also had the 24 hours urinary test for the cortisol and my cortisol level was low as well... so I don't know why i'm so anxious and why my panic disorder is so bad right now... probably related to my serotonin level...
Anxiety is a reaction to stress, it can certainly cause tunnel vision related to the excessive production of adrenaline, this is a basic fight or flight response.
Anxiety can cause hypersensitivity to their surroundings incluidng light, once again this is due to the high levels of adrenaline.
Hope this helps.
I'm no doctor but suffer from anxiety also. I've definitely had spasms under and around my eyes. I've also noticed that certain lighting settings can trigger an attack. It will make it appear that my vision is very "dim" if you get what I'm saying. It goes away after a while though.
