Can anyone tell me what's wrong

Can anyone tell me what's wrong

I have suffered with GAD & Panic Disorder and Bi-Polar for most of my life.  I have had it under very reasonable control with Lithium, Hydroxyzine & I take Ambien for sleep.  Things had been going so well that I had not had any panic attacks for a couple of years.  Well, something happened traumatic for me (custody battle) and I was extremely upset at first and even had a panic attack in the middle of the night.  Thanks to my sleep medicine I didn't have to actually endure the panic attack too much.  I know how bad they hurt.
But ever since this event happened, I have not been able to breath right.  It feels like I can't breath in very far at all (like there is a block).  So I get winded easy.  I have to yawn to get enough oxygen and so I have been excessively yawning.  My chest mildly hurts, my chest mildly flutters.  The weird part about it is that I am not upset anymore.  The situation that started it is under control and things are going pretty well.  In fact, I would not be complaining if I could breath better.  I also feel a little bloated in my stomach....... I've tried GASX, pepto, laxitives, etc..... I went to the doctor and after listening to my chest he thought I had Emphsema.  But that came back fine so he then said it must be stress.
I've just wonder if I have a heart issue.  My parents have heart problems.  My Dad in particular has a Heart Valve issue.   But all my blood work was good recently.  I don't have high blood pressure.  But I just can't seem to move some oxygen.  Any advice would be appreciated. I will do what ever I have to..... to breath normal again.

I highly doubt you have any heart problems at all. This breathing issue is most def anxiety related, especially if your at thinks so. I'm kind of going through a similar thing. My anxiety is gone but I'm stuck with breathing issues and a very very tight throat. It stinks. Practice deep breathing. In with your nose into the stomach... Hold... Then exhale through your mouth. Do this 3 times or so... Then on your 4th one exhale while making an "ahhh" sound. You'll be surprised on how much air your able to breath and it feels good. Give it a try.

How many times a day should I practice breathing exercises and when should I notice improvement?  And someone recommended exercising?  I just need to know what kind of regime will return my breathing back to normal and not make it worse?  Sounds like I need to try not to let anything ever get me upset.  Because this is not the first time that doing so makes me pay for it for a long time.
Feels like **** when a medical person treats me like a quack when I'm hurting because of my anxiety.  I even told the doctor in this situation that I had anxiety problems (in the beginning) but when my x-rays came back normal, he came in and told me I was worrying way to much over this situation.  But he was the one who told me I probably had Emphysema and to go home and make all these changes!!!  I wasn't asking the doctor to diagnose me with a bad disease.  I just wanted help stopping this breathing problem. Doctors walk out on anxiety issues.
Thanks.

you can also soak in a tub with a couple of cups of epsoms salt. The magnesium will do wonders to relax you.
