Hi Paxiled,
Yes you are right,i do that a lot of times after eating, like just lie down on my stomach while using the laptop and sometimes it is right after eating and sometimes i even consume the food lying down so may be the cause is right there and i have to sit up and eat and not create reasons for the acidity, however everything else i have mentioned in my above post for anyone who would be interested in reading. Thank you for taking out time,i truly appreciate it :)
Hi Nurse girl,
Thank you for taking time out to respond,i really do appreciate it. I totally agree with you when you say that once you do get addicted, you eventually find a way to fund a habit,i can relate to that for i have been through that with gambling and i have done all sort of things available to imagination to fund the addiction and given that i belong to a reputed family like most of us,it has bee highly humiliating for me.
My symptoms do not pain a clear picture,i would agree on that, however i have mentioned that i had been addicted to smoking pot and i did that for a good four to five years, initially it was off and on before it became a regular to survive and even after i quit using it since august last year, the consequences of which i am bearing even today and its almost been a year. It started with weird problems i started experiencing with my vision, believe you me nursegirl, that time when this problem used to arise i used to be so scared as i felt i could not see anything properly and i got all sort of check ups done on myself.
You would be amazed to know that during the period of me experiencing such problems,i got my vision tested which was perfect,i got an MRI done of my head which was clear, and eventually it went away on its own. After that i started having these weird burning sensations, now when i say burning it means real bad,my feet and lower abdomen it was so so bad,it used to feel like i could not tolerate it,and when it got to a level where i really could not take it anymore i decided to look for help and i changed 3 doctors, two of them were allopaths who put me on epitril o.5 mg which is apparently a anti depressant and i showed a homeopath doctor who attributed something else, until i came across the man who is responsible for the cure and he is a naturopath and it was HE who told me that my condition is called ' Parasthesia' and on doing the treatment i started feeling better and to a point where its almost over, however i did read about the condition and kept myself updated,so eventually i did get rid of these burning issues and the vision issues.
I am an extremist by nature and also there are a few things smoking pot has left me with and one of them is anxiety and for that i still sometimes do take epitril,on prescription though as it does help in keeping me calm. Cocaine,i took to just as a recreational drug but because my best friend is an hardcore addict,it became a regularity and then i again started experiencing the weird symptoms and that is probably why i have not been able to explain myself clearly in the above post. Hope this detailed one would help here.
Since a few days i started having this weird pain on the right side of my body, below my armpit leading upto my shoulder and i have finally got relief after applying a few ointments and it seems to be a muscle issue and the digestion is better also now, probably these are or are not the effects of cocaine but one can never be sure with chemicals and i feel i do not have it in me to deal with these weird health problems,so if this means i would have to give up the company of my best friend because he is an addict,i am prepared for it as whenever we meet either i end up smoking or doing this **** and if its causing me harm,it certainly cannot be worth it.
I still have the burning below my feet at times, but its way better than the time i used to smoke pot and the vision issues,i really cannot explain much because that is the worst thing that i have dealt with, and it used to be like a constant pressure on my head and i am glad things are getting better and eventually once i am clean and this cocaine goes out as well,i believe i can start a healthy life and be the way people are at my age and not live like an old man surviving on medicines, that in itself is a terrible feeling altogether.
I hope this acidity issue goes away and i believe when i don't do ****,my body would eventually bounce back to normal,or so i hope for it to,thank you for the time and patience to have read my post and i hope i have explained everything that i wanted to clearly :)
Regards,
Vik
Highly unlikely cocaine has anything to do with acid reflux. This is a digestive disorder, and the way you eat probably contains the explanation. It is often caused by lying down soon after eating -- is this something you do? I'd say some aloe vera juice and some digestive enzymes will probably clear this up, provided you realize you're getting older and need to eat better.
Hello there!
The most important part of your post is that you state you're done with the cocaine. It's impossible to attribute the cocaine use to your symptoms, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was the culprit.
If I were you, I would recommend a THOROUGH work up with your doc, being honest about how much you've been using, Coke is a very dangerous drug, and can cause very serious health problems, things from chronic high blood pressure to sudden cardiac arrest, to problems with teeth, you name it. It's just so bad.
You want to steer clear of it, not to mention it WILL eventually become something you cannot control, so don't fool yourself there. Addicts don't care if they can afford their drug or choice or not. MOST addicts can not afford it, yet they find a way. And while cocaine isn't physically addicting like an opiate, the psychological addiction can be intense, with people doing all kinds of things out of character to get it.
Lastly,. cocaine will not help anxiety. Cocaine is a stimulant, so if anything, it's the worst possible thing you could use, as an anxious person. It's like throwing gasoline on a fire.
I strongly recommend getting in front of your doctor, and soon. Your symptoms are kind of vague and don't really point to anything definitively. Actually, I don't think there's enough info there to say you're even experiencing acid reflux. It could be something else entirely. Don't try to doctor yourself and figure it out.
I would also recommend getting some psychological help, to start addressing the anxiety, and to also explore the possibility that you're dealing with an addiction. If you are, it's SO important that you address it.
Best to you...update us when you can!
