Can over breathing be directly related to palpitations?

Can over breathing be directly related to palpitations?

It appears to be the case where I am concerned.  Since making this realization my palpitations and subsequent anxiety have virtually disappeared.

I made a discovery that SLOW, SHALLOW breathing removed my palpitations from existence.

Anybody else realize this?  It appears that my 6 months of anxiety and palpitations were directly related to over-breathing.

Hi I get heart palpitations all the time, but it is from anxiety!  I been to cardiologists and had tests done and when I told him my heart is palpitating he told me no it isn't!  I said yes it is i feel it.  So I was told it is anxiety along with these damn panic attacks...i don't know what to do with myself

So you told your doc that you can feel your heart palpitating and he told you it wasn't? What did you feel exactly? I'm asking because I feel the palps too and when I get the tests done they tell me the same thing. They tell me that they saw maybe one or two palps within 24 hrs. Mean while my heart feels like it palps every other beat. Its sooooo damn annoying!! So what do you feel when it happens to you?
