Cant catch breathe

I've found lately that I cannot catch my breathe at times, I have a tight chest and it aches at times. Ive had a sinus problem on and off for months and my doctor said it is connected to that. However Ive had this breathing problem for years and I get chest pains even without my sinus symptons.

Do you have any suggestions of what this may be?

Your symptoms sound very similar to mine. I have bad sinuses plus bad anxiety. I am having breathing problems right now, and it is related to anxiety.
