Can't stand my anxiety

I am on Xanax and have been told I have to wean myself off.. This is the same as telling a drug dealer on the street to wean themselves off a non-prescriptiondrug... I need help because I cannot stop taking them...

You can stop taking them but your Dr. should have given you a taper program. Did he/she? You can't go too fast with this med so it might take awhile. What dose are you on and how long have you been taking them?

Joan,

You need to tapper off slowly with a longer acting benzo. I don't know how much Xanax you take or how long you have been taking it. Google>Ashton Manual.

Please see a doctor before deciding to take an SSRI. Think long and hard about an internet pharmacy.
