Celexa-problems, plz help

Celexa-problems, plz help

This is going to sound bizarre:

I started Celexa in February. End of February, I had to decrease it to only 5mg because of 'sped up' side effects-(not sleeping, brain felt completely gone, was finding it hard to take care of myself and make commitments during the day)

Around mid March I started having trouble with slurring words because my tongue has been puffy in my mouth, like I can always 'feel it there'. I have been having chills and fevers every night for 3 weeks and headaches (for 3 weeks, no joke.)

SO...I am thinking this is withdrawal. I was thinking of increasing it tonight to 10mg again...OR...stopping it tonight. (But that could cause more of these symptoms...)

I cannot get to a doctor this week. I may stop in at a walk in clinic. My doctor thinks I should just keep increasing it (but obviously, they are not in my body experiencing these things.)

(Oh, but the good-my anxiety is basically gone!!)

If anyone has any advice or experience with this kind of stuff, please help.
Thanks.

Obviously,

Different people have different side effects, I think the most common would be Fatigue in most people.

Have you tried Cymbalta or Lexapro? Sounds like Celexa is causing you some major side effects.
