Has anyone had insomnia while taking celexa. I heard that I am having a paradoxal effect ??. Cheers Dunny

I take it now in the morning and have for a few weeks. We are still trying to figure out what will work and this will take some time. The positive thing is that I am open and this is my real attempt at medication it took a long time for me to remove my own stigma around meds. But I have crossed that barrier and will be gentle in the process. Cheers Dunny

Medications will affect people in different ways, but I had an adjustment period when I first started taking an SSRI like Celexa. In my opinion, whenever you start, stop, or adjust dosage you will probably have some side effects. What time of day do you take the meds? For some, switching from night to morning can really help you while others prefer taking at night. It is a little trial and error when trying to find out what is best for you sometimes...keep us posted!
