Clinical Studies?

by Slee11, Aug 26, 2009 01:33PM
I have been recently working on some clinical studies on anxiety and I was wondering if anybody knew of any clinical support services?  I have looked into a few and came across some that sound pretty good.  I was wondering if anybody has ever worked with TransPerfect Trial Interactive before?  I checked out their website, TrialInteractive, and they seem pretty solid but I would like to hear other people's take on it.  What do you guys think? or does anybody have any other suggestions?  Thanks in advance.

This sounds interesting, what exactly do they do?  Do they require people to trial drugs for them?

Any verifiable study is in Clinicaltrials.gov or at least Pubmed. There are a lot of treatments that have no claims to support them except the reccomendations of the website. Any verifiable treatment would have some outside confirmation and would be found in one of those two sites. If you are considering starting any treatment speak to a psychiatrist first.

They are more than likely just looking for some people to test some products on. See the reaction, so they will know what effect their products have on people. Something I would never dive into. Not after the case in Ireland that nearly killed 3 people. One had his head swell so much they thought he was a goner. This was just them testing out new forms of medications. Would they work or would they not work? They need to find out some how or other. Clinical studies can be clinical indeed.

Yeah i remember that case... it was awlful.  My heart really went out to those guys... turned out the drug should of been administered over the course of hours instead of mins... major balls up.  Something i would never try either.
