Clonazepam

If you are taking clonazepam ( or have) do/did you get any type of reaction from it? If so, what. Also, how long does it relieve you for? I told the doc that my anxiety issues are at the worst in the morning, but ,she told me to take it at night. I don't think that by morning it's still giving me any relief and I don't want to chance taking it in the morning because I have to drive to school. Any feedback would be great thanks!

I was taking it at night to help me sleep.

Over the last few months I've paid more attention to what my body is telling me and I have noticed that my anxiety is at it's peak and worse in the morning. I told my doctor this and he said that it's very common to be like that in the morning when someone also has depression (which I do) so I found that to be a bit of an eye opener for me.

Are you on anything else aside from the clonaz?

Ive been taking a quarter of a .5 tablet  for about 10yrs. 2-3x daily Ive been on others before that. This is suppose to be a longer duration med. I take the least I can to avoid side affects. Just because a Dr. prescribes a set dosage, find the dosage that works for you. Maybe you can get by with a little at night and in the morning. In time your body will adjust and you wont feel so drugged up that you can  it in the morning, But again take the minimum you can to get the results you need

On an empty stomach or dissolved in the mouth it can act in as fast as 20 mins. Hope i have helped in some way

I take on special occasions 0.25-0.5mg of clonazepam for anxiety. It begins to work in about 40 minutes to one hour, and the effect last on me for about 12 hours (0.5mg). It is a wonderful aid for me. But I am aware of his addiction potencial. Because I take a small dose I don't feel side effects.
I am satisfied with this med, but I take it with precaution.

I take .5 /2 times a day. I just cut my afternoon dose. I was told by the dr. at the emergency room where I was last week for chest pain that I should only take it every 12 hours as needed. I feel very tired and sleepy all the time and I have tremors and nervousness. It should stay in ur blood stream for a while. I don't the strength of ur pill.
Be careful when u drive because I still feel spaced out even I have been on it for 5 months.
I did not have too many problems with it just the lack of zest and energy.
One dr. told me that doing deep breathing and relaxation for ten minutes will work better than medication.
Good luck and don't take life too seriously. God bless.
