Cold Turkey! PAXIL CR 37.5mg

Hey! Today I decided to take myself off of the Paxil CR 37.5mg I have been taking this for months now and I have gained a lot of weight! I have read about the withdraw affects and I can not believe it! This is a horrible med to be on people! While it works damn good...you put on a lot of weight! I can not take the way I look anymore! I would rather have the "zaps" than continue to gain weight!

good luck on going cold turkey.   you probably will end up in the emergency room.  paxil also turn me into a fat blob.  i don't know what is worse.  the depression i feel from gaining so much weight or the reasons i started taking paxil in the first place.  once i am off of paxil i will never tak it again.  i am weening myself slowly.

i gained a lot of weight, too, but cold turkey on Paxil?  Why would you do that?  Taper off, it'll take time to lose the weight anyway.
