About five weeks ago I was sitting watching TV, eating lunch and all of a sudden it felt like I was having a heart attack or something. It felt like my heart was beating really hard. It went away but I still felt very overwhelmed and strange. I went to the ER at the local hospital and they did ECGEcg Electrocardiogram (ecg) Exercise stress test Post myocardial infarction ecg wave tracings's and 2 sets of blood tests, said I didn't have a heart attack and everthing was OK. They never said anything about panicPanic disorder Panic disorder with agoraphobia attacks at the time.
I have been to my personal doctor 4 times since all of this. I've had more blood tests, 2 diferent chest x-rays, everything comes back OK. She thinks it may be anxiety and has started me on Cipralex 10mg. So far its been 14 days. The pain in chest is still there, maybe a 1 out of 10 on the pain scale but nagging and bothering. Is this normalNormal saline flush for anxiety? The pain is almost always there and almost always in the same spotBirthmarks - pigmented Liver spots Measles, koplik spots - close-up Mongolian blue spots (upper left side). It sometimes seems to be on the right side as well. I don't notice it if I can get my mind on something else but this is very difficult because it overwhelms my thoughts. It really has affected my life as I am constantly worried about it.
