Could this be all anxiety?!

Ok here goes: I'm 28/female, pretty healthy ... on 10/6, about 1 week before I was to leave for Vegas I was extremely nervous about flying. Out of the blue I started having frequent urination problems. No urgency (meaning I could hold it if I had too) but just frequent trips to the bathroom. No real pain or anything. I have an underlying anxiety disorder that is not controlled and I did start to panic about these symptoms which in turn probably made them worse. So after about 5 days I went to the Uro, no UTI, Urinalysis' was clear so they put me on Vesicare for overactive bladder on 10/12. I was only on it for 3 days before leaving for Vegas on the 14th - which was an AMAZING time and I had no urinary problems the whole time there (6 days) ... now I don't know if the medicine began working right away or if the whole symptomatic period I had was just due to my anxiety? I kept with the Vesicare and when we came back I was pretty depressed to be home and had maybe 2-3 days within 2 weeks I had "issuses" of frequency lasting a few hours but then they went away. As of last Mon 11/1, after 3 weeks on the Vesicare and after being home for 2 weeks Iam 100% back to normal and I can't tell if it's from the Vesicare or because the anxiety from the trip has finally faded out of my body as well as the depression from having to come back home. I'm on 5mgs of Vesicare and as of today started cutting them in 1/2 because I'm not even sure if I have OAB and I don't want to be on this medicine if I don't need too ... I am attempting to get my anxiety in check with therapy and possible future talk of an antidepressant. Also, within 6 months - 1 year I do plan on trying to get pregnant. Based on the information - could I have OAB or is it possible that my symptoms could relate to my anxiety?

I'm talking to my therapist tonight and am waiting on a call back from my Uro

Thanks in advance :)

Don't really know what else to tell you since you're doing pretty much what we'd recommend anyway. Talk to your urologist about going off the Vesicare and see how you do. If it WAS just the anxiety and excitement surrounding the trip, you'll know soon enough.
As for the anxiety and depression, just make sure your doctors are aware that you intend to try getting pregnant. Some medications you need to be off for several months before attempting pregnancy.
Hopefully you can deal with both these issues in your therapy and not need meds.
Just keep every doctor you see apprised of all the medications you take.
Best of luck
