Cymbalta (duloxetine)

Can I take Cymbalta (duloxetine) without harm my single polysyctic kidney, my kidney functions arevery good. Many thanks for help..I am 51 years old my weight is 104 KG.

I would not have recommend you to go onto duloxetine, in some, duloxetine can cause kidney and liver problems, drinking alcohol while taking this drug will unfortunately increase that risk and even more so with someone with your condition. My recommendation is to have 6 month bloods done of you kidney and liver function tests;

Agree with the above, but it is known that this drug can be highly liver toxic to some people, so make sure your liver is fine.  It is also very hard to stop taking.  So you want to take that into consideration as well.

I would ask my doc, pharmacist and check with the drug manufacturer in reverse order.
