Cymbalta withdrawal or Paxil side effect or neither???

by AmorDeJay, Apr 17, 2008 09:38AM
So as I told many of you, I am finally back on Paxil, I started last week at 10 mg. for three days and then up to 20 mg. for like the past 5 days.  I was on Cymbalta 30 mg. prior to that for several months.  My doctor had me stop cold turkey and just switch to the Paxil from one day to the next.  My question is this...I have had a headache now every day and I feel out of it, brain foggy, sometimes I just sit and stare.  I can't really explain it, just feel weird in my head.  Can't concentrate too well at work. I took Paxil before for years and this didn't happen but I've been off of it now since August until I started again last week.  Could these symptoms be withdrawal from the Cymbalta or side effects from the Paxil or just coincidence and I should go have a CT Scan or something.  I hate feeling like this.

And I hate that you DO feel like this. I so wish I had the answer. All I know is that if itr were I, I'd be right smack dad in front of my doctor asking for attention. Hang in, gal.
