MY T3, & T4 ARE NORMAL BUT TSH IS HIGH(8.0)

Hey Negive. I learned about T3 T4 and TSH in my nursing classes. TSH stands for Thyroid Stimulating Hormone. and if you have too much of this or too much T3 and T4 it causes Hyperthyroidism, which increases your metabolism, and CAN cause you to become anxious, because it speeds your body up. You probably feel like your always moving and it can be exhausting. Are you losing weight as well? This might increase your blood pressure too.  Talk to your doctor about your symptoms they should prescribe you something.

All thyroid hormones, if out of balance, can create anxiety, whether they're too low or too high.  They don't test for all thyroid hormones generally.

Absolutely ! Im going for a full thyroid panel tomorrow as a matter of fact. It can also cause you to miss taking that deep breath ie: irregular breathing, google "Hypothyroid and deep breath" I was amazed and hopeful, I have about ten symptoms of "hypo" Anxiety, depression, irritability, fatigue, dry skin, constipation, tingling and numbness in hands and feet, irregualr breathing, sensitivity to temperature (never had it before, now I cant take cold, im always cold now)....
