Dizziness

Hello all,

I've been waiting for ages to try and get a diagnosis on this dizziness I've had consistently for 6 months. It's prevented me from getting public transport, it's a struggle to concentrate at university and effects my social life.

I thought it was linked to ear infections I've had but it seems that's not the case, the hospital now thinks it's simply anxiety.

It's a bit of a come down to be told it's something like that with little advice on what to do. What do you guys do to deal with it?

Hi,anxiety disorder can indeed cause constant dizziness .The hospital have checked ur ears? by a regular doctor or an ENT ? if you havent visit an ENT then you should see one.And your dizziness is a spinning sensation or a light headed type (feeling faint) ? i do have lightheaded sensation most of the time and the only time i found relief from it,is by relazing on a sofa or on a bed.

Well I thought originally it was blurred vision because from the minute I get up I find it difficult to focus on things further than say a computer screen away in distance. I've had my eyes tested and I've been to the ENT today but they only think I have ear eczema.

I've had to stop getting buses, the room spins if I go from a light room to a dark room, I can't eat when I got out without feeling sick, and so on.
