Hello I am 24 male my name is Ernan, i don't really know how to describe how I feel, best way to describe it is dizziness.. When I look down at stuff at times I feel like it's moving slightly, I can not go to stores like wal mart or the mall because I begin to feel dizzy/lightheaded it has literally stopped me from doing what I love, I use to be a very active person, I've played sports all my life, and I can not play the sport I most love now which is basketball because as soon as I start running around I start feeling dizzy/ lightheaded. I've gone to the ER. I've gone to several different doctors, I've had blood work done CT scan on my head and everything came back normal. I just want my life back I've been feeling this way for 2 years now. It's on and off all the time. Only thing that helps is laying down for a long while.
Did any of the Drs say if this was possibly anxiety? Are you having any other symptoms besides the dizziness? Have you seen and ENT specialist? Sorry for all of the questions but the more we know the better we can help.
Oh sounds to me like anxiety. .
Let me set it straight u done good for ruling any illness out.. but seriously u have anxiety. . I started out with those symptoms. I feel lightheaded.. dizzy. Like im going to faint.. my blood pressure goes down.. my heart race.. im scared. . All that is anxiety.. the problem here is you.. u are causing the symptoms. When ur out to the store. U start thinking hard.. like say ur fine ur shopping at walmart. All of the sudden u remember about feeling dizzy and llightheaded. And u start getting a bit paranoid like. What if it happens right now.. and all of the sudden (((boom..))) u start feeling dizzy, lightheaded then ur blood pressure drops. Ur heart race.. and u feel ur going to faint.. u can't breathe. . All that bbecauseu had to remember. Ur making it wost n worst by thinking about it. Relax relax. If u didn't have a problem before. U should know u be fine.. is ALL IN UR HEAD.. u keep remembering that u can't go nowhere without thinking ur going to faint.. ur self u getting paranoid. . Trsut me. I been there done that.. But u will be fine. NOTHING IS WRONG WITH YOU. JUST ANXIETY THAT U DEVELOP. .. u need to train ur mind.. if it gets to get therapy go for it.. trust me.. u have hope.. blessings ♡ hope this helps..
Thank you for your reply sir, actually no, not one doctor has said it is anxiety. The only symptom that I get is weakness in my arms and legs. And I am actually going to see a ear nose and throat specialist this Friday. My primary care doctor recommended me to go.
Hello nirvana1234 thanks for your reply, if this is indeed in my head then I will seek out a therapy for it. Sometimes I do feel this way at home or outside especially when I try to play sports which I have quit because I begin to feel this. It can happen any where for that matter, but 100% of the time it happens when I go to the stores. And the whole time on the way to the store it is in my head about feeling this way... So what kind of a therapist should I seek out?
I'm glad you will be seeing a specialist. It really is best to rule everything else out that may be causing these symptoms. Yes, it could very well be anxiety. Your primary Dr can most likely recommend a therapist for you.
