Dizzy spells and tingling in face and arams

I have been having dizzy spells and just recently I have been having uncomfortable tingling sensation around my face, head and arms. I visited the doctor recently with balance problems whereby I was stumbling and banging into things. He pointed out that I have vertigo. However I also suffer from GAD and I was thinking that is the 2 symptons getting mixed up. I cannot seem to lift this tingling and im firghtened that something else is going to happen, like take a panic attack or pass out.

I am sorry that you are going through this right now.  I had a friend that suffered from vertigo for awhile and he was a pilot, so it really hit him hard when it affected his job as well.  In my opinion, health problems and anxiety can go hand in hand.  We often worry about a diagnosis and we can definitely 'magnify' the symptoms, in my experience.  Have you ever sought counseling for your anxiety?  Have you had anxiety issues in the past?

When we suffer from GED it's easy to let any physical thing not get to us. Vertigo is quite something to have from what I have heard so I can understand how the two can mingle. At some point in dealing with my anxiety my upper left jaw was numb, then my teeth and my left arm. It was hard not to get carried away with the scarry thoughts. But I kept reminding me that it was just anxiety.

I've been on Meds and didn't like the effects. I found a newsletter and in it there was a link to a ebook. I was sceptical but it's helped me so much. If you are interested it's called the One Move Technique from Joe Barry. This is not an andorcement but in order to help others suffering from anxiety cause this has saved my sanity and I'm better every day. The book is expensive but you can sign up to the news letters that contain some information from the book to help deal with panic attack and anxiety. They do talk more of the GAD in the book.

It sounds like anxiety to me but the bumping into things most likely vertigo.

Wow! that sounds so much like me.
You get the tingling either because you are breathing too fast, or your just scared. It feels like a panic attack is coming on. About the dizziness i been suffering from that for 4 months now, where i can not walk straight. I started skipping college classes afraid to faint in class. They said it might be vertigo. It can be caused by an inner ear problem. ( I didn't have that).. Just viral infection. Even though you do not suffer from any ear pain, or maybe you just need the wax out. Also Anxiety triggers dizziness. Talk to your doctor about it. For me, i still don't know the reason for it.
