hi billy if the blood was tested for your heart related worries then they wouldn really look for the blood cells which show cancer, saying that before you get all worried!!!!, my friend went for a routineRoutine sputum culture blood test think it was for thyroid or something so they WASNT checking for cancer but they noticed the cells were abnormal so called her back. so if there was something abnormal with your blood they would have noticed. maybe you should get the acid reflux treated that can cause loads of pains in the chest area.
Hi billy please dont worry if you have had a full blood count and other bloods done the doc is right it dosent show up cancer but it would show up many many more things and the doc would know that more tests were needed so put it to bed and stop the worry has it will bring on more anxiety symptoms. take care

hi billy if your doc done blood tests ecg everything seems to be running smoothly yep bloodtests dont show up actual cancer ,bu there are blood tests that do but again these tests would have been ordered along with others if their had been any signs of abnormalty in your blood tests the acid with back n chest pains is anxiety due to your worries take a step bk billy try some deep breathing exercises here anytime take care now jane
Remember doctor's treat symptoms and if you don't have the symptoms that warrant testing than they will not do them. For example, do you think they would do exploratory brain surgery if they thought you didn't need it? Probably not.
You are young and healthy; I know it is hard to wrap your mind around it when you suffer from health anxiety...it has effected many of us here on this forum. The 'what if?' pattern of thinking takes hold and can really make the mind run with disturbing thoughts to say the least. Heck, I thought I had so many diseases when I first went through this, I did not want to believe the doctors. I would always say, "yeah, but......yeah, but...." Please ensure you are seeing a therapist for all of this...learning about anxiety is the best way to confront it. Keep us posted!
