ohhh that must be horrible =/
I haven't had one for a few weeks, but it just freaked me out when i had one cos it was so hard against my chest.
Yeah my doctor thinks it's just stress related palpations.
So i'm hoping all goes well tomorrow, mine is getting done at my doctors surgery because here in the U.K you sometimes have trained qualified nurses that can do what a cardiologist can do so you don't have to wait for a hospital appoitment :)

I experience that all the time. I had them for almost 2 weeks without any relief. It was just one after the other. It was pretty scary and I did go see my dr. He sent me to a cardiologist and I wore a heart monitor for 24 hrs. I was having over 100 of them a day. Turns out it was just pvcs and perfectly normal. People that are perfectly healthy have them and they won't hurt you. I still get them now and then but I don't let it worry me because I know it's nothing serious. I'm sure you will be fine.
Well she just said that people commonly get this feeling and they find nothing wrong with their heart, my dad said he has had them and had aload of heart tests, but he's perfectly healthy, his doctor put it down to stress and worrying, it's like a palpation apparently.
He said it feels like your heart stopped then re-started again but obviously not because he would of stopped breathing if his heart stopped.
So i dunno really, it's proberbly nothing, i'll find out on Thursday.
Xo.
Anxiety can cause all sorts of weird sensations in your chest to include what you describe. Most people have palpatations but don't pay much attention to them or let alone feel them. Anxiety tends to keep our focus onto every little sensation. I have palpatations frequently, but was checked out and given the all clear...what did your doctor say?
