Does it really help?

Medication that is.
I dislike being robbed of potential.
I am 24 and only this year I started experienceinf a dramatic change in my life.
I try going all natural healing but still no better. I am not doing it right I suppose. I need to eat better as well. I always get these low sugar blood readings at night. I was told my levels are fine but I still experience symptoms as if I was a diabetic. Adrenaline must suck like that.

So what is a safe medicine that would work?

I am a proponent of medication.  I used to be very skeptical about it until I decided to give it a try.  I would agree that you should go seek the advice of a professional like a psychiatrist that deals with these issues every day.  For me, the combination of medication and counseling seemed to work the best, but we all tend to react to different forms of therapy in our own way.  I suggest keeping an open mind about this and looking into all options....keep us posted.

Yes.....medication is the only answer for many of us.  Some people have a root cause for their anxiety which is typically a traumatic event from their past where they never truly dealt with.  When this happens, these hidden or forgotten feelings come back in the form of anxiety and/or depression demanding to be dealt with.  With therapy we can learn if this is our particular case, learn what the event was and then deal with it, easing our anxiety.  But for many, no cause is found and we rely on medication(s) to control our symptoms.  Anxiety can be just like any other medical condition requiring daily medication to control the symptoms, and that's okay.  There is a vast array of medications out there, but we all respond differently to them, and what works for one person, may not another. So, it's often trial and error in finding the one that will work best for us....but well worth it once we find it! See a psychiatrist and go from there, you can feel better.  I hope this helps and take care.

Yes medication was key for obtaining stability for me and is of help to many people. If you have any specific physical conditions that you have been diagnosed with or are concerned about its essential to call them to the attention of a psychiatrist if you decide to see one so they can see what medication would be most appropriate.
