Does this sound like anxiety to you?

I'm 16, and for the past 3 or 4 years, I've had chest pains shortness of breath, and the feeling like my heart skips a beat, on and off. I've been to the doctors' who listened to my heart and lungs, and said they sounded perfectly normal. He also did my pulse and blood pressure, BMI, lung capacity, and they were all fine too.

This made me think it was more anxiety than a physical problem. I've always been a bad worrier, and now that I've started my A Levels, the stress is getting to me, and it's been worse since I started them.

I thought it was anxiety before, and I tried my best to overcome it, and I did. For about a year, I was symptom free and I felt great. Then something happened and I started getting the pains and shortness of breath again.

Recently, I had a months holiday where I really enjoyed myself, and kept busy, and again, my symptoms disappeared, but then I returned to the U.K, and the stress, worry and symptoms returned.

I'm pretty sure this is anxiety, as all the symptoms I've described are some of the most common for anxiety. Coupled with the fact I'm fairly young, and the doctor says I'm physically ok, I'm pretty certain it is anxiety.

Has anyone had similar experiences of anxiety, and what methods they found of reducing it that really worked for them? I've tried meditation, but I just can't get into it, and I end up giving up.

It's probably anxiety especially after being checked out by doctors. I'm 19 and i recently went through the worst 2 months of my life because of anxiety. I thought I had heart disease and ect because i had a racing pulse, turns out it was just anxiety.

Take some nice soothing vitamin B5. Also try ashwagandha. Also very soothing. Don't get hooked on anxiety medication. That stuff has bad side effects.
