EFFEXOR HELL

Hey everyone.  So I made it to day 4 from quitting effexor cold turkey.  I feel like its finally over.  What a nasty drug.  I am seeing my my therapist and Dr. today.  Wonder what will happen:)

WHY are you stopping cold turkey? Is it not best to taper off just about any med?  My friend was on effexor and it can be dreadful. But geez, taper,taper,taper!

Well kinda too late.  It's done, withdrawal that is.  I probably should have tapered off but I honestly just wanted that drug out of my body immediately.  It should be taken off the market.  Awful drug.  Day 5 and I feel great!

I realize everyone says TAPER TAPER TAPER, but it is hard to do when you realize what POISON you are taking.  It would be like leaving the boyfriend you caught cheating on you... slowly.... and still giving him hugs and kisses everyday, only fewer... until none at all.... I just want as far AWAY from this **** as I can get.
