Every things feels surreal

Like my head is not the same part of my body. It's just off floating somewhere else lol. When I stand up or walk it's like my legs aren't there. When I went to Walmart to get my Ativan it felt weird. I really don't know how to describe it just surreal. Nothing seems normal. It makes me panic.

I'm not a dr but I think this could be as simple as allergies or an inner ear problem all the way up to a psych problem. You should go to your dr unless you like living in la la land ?

i have gone to the doctor. they upped my antidepressants, gave me ativan for my anxiety and panic and ordered blood work.

did taking the ativan help the out of the body experience feeling? you can have those feelings with anxiety. let us know how your doing.

I've talked about this quite a few times. When I expirienced this my pdoc explained to me that my "spacey feeling" was due to the adrenaline rush then drop that you get from having a panic attack. It feels a little weird, but it goes away and is harmless. Maybe ask your doc if this could be a possibilty with you? I know once I found that out I felt much better and learned to let it pass.
