Experimtnt to relieve anxiety?

Has anybody tried the following experiment to relieve anxiety?
Plug your right nostril with a wad of small cotton from 1pm to 4pm. thereby breathing only from left nostril for there three hours.This method creates a beneficial rhythm of breathing reducing anxiety and depression.One can get used to this plug in 4 or 5 days.I t is worth trial. It is based on Yoga Practice.Right nostril breathing is sun breathing and left nostril is moon breathing. It is autonomic.Most of the day Moon breathing(left) should beoperative and Sun breathing is at night.This balances the night and day.
Do try and post the results.

Hmm, I suppose it wouldn't hurt to try... but just thinking about it for me kind of seems like it would make more anxiety.  I mean, it seems like I wouldn't be able to breathe very well.  Then again, I have lots of allergies, so I'm usually at least partially stuffed-up.  Plus I think I would get some strange looks cuz I work during that time... they would maybe even fire me for dress code violation, LOL!

Yes, I understand your skeptical attitude towards this technique.It appears to b e far-fatched, especially for those who are not initiated into yoga and that too advanced yoga.
It is based on swaroday-yoga.You are likely to get details if you research the word Swaroday-yoga. Swardoday is a sanskrit word meaning science of sound. You are likely to get details if you search with word SWARODAYA.
I may post some detal translationg it from a book In Hindi( indian language. thanks.
